What you'll do

Srimatrix Inc. requires a Business Analyst for its offices in Allen, TX who will be involved in the following: 1. Create comprehensive business requirements and design documents by conducting research on policies and procedures and collaborating with the project stakeholders to capture and provide actionable inputs for product direction. 2. Interview and facilitate walkthrough meetings with decision makers, systems owners, and state stakeholders to define business, financial, operational, and system requirements and the scope of the project. 3. Review and analyze the state and effectiveness of existing user interface systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. 4. Establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in the form of workflow diagrams, models, and proposed layouts in order to communicate the product vision, priorities, and success metrics to the development team for effective delivery. 5. Assist in leading design sessions in prototyping new systems and the functionality being added using visualization tools to validate and justify the initial business design and requirements. 6. Create data models and artifacts by collaborating with the project manager to help the internal team better understand technology architectures and the design of the business processes. 7. Assist the project manager and the system engineering team through the design, development, deployment, and maintenance stages of the product lifecycle to address any changes in requirements for the product and application deliverables. 8. Perform functional decomposition of high-level requirements into technical sub-requirements to trace them to specific test cases using an application lifecycle management tool for quality assurance purposes. 9. Develop test plans and perform test case validation to ensure the product is defect free, fulfills all the business requirements from the end user perspective, and is of the utmost quality before deployment. 10. Keep track of changes, update the database, and report the internal stakeholders using project lifecycle management tools. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field of study. Travel required to unanticipated client locations all over the United States.
